Its 17-inch display has a 144Hz-240Hz refresh rate and comes in 1080p resolution, which is still adequate for a resonant experience. The battery lasts 6-8 hours when used in a variety of ways and the fans are quiet when the device is in use.
The Scar 16 has a design that’s a little gamer-like however, it’s not flashy. Its lid with a prismatic design is the most distinctive aspect. It catches the light and shines through tiny holes to create the effect of a rainbow. The laptop’s display pivot raises the chassis back which helps improve airflow. It also tilts the keyboard toward you. Asus calls it the ErgoLift hinge.
This is a fantastic laptop to play games, but it’s also capable of handling other tasks that require processing like editing video or manipulating images. It comes with a variety of ports which include USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-C, HDMI 2.0b and a 3.5mm combo connector. There’s also an SD slot. The speakers are powerful however they can turn dispersed and shrill at high volumes which is why you’ll need to pair it with headphones. The only issue is minor unwanted software that you’ll need to eliminate, such as McAfee Personal Security and the Dolby App.
